mindfulness coaching sessions

Welcome to the booking page where you can book in to work with Kylie in a face-to-face session or via zoom. Kylie works with both children and adults. All sessions are personalised to work on each individuals, or small groups, targeted mental health needs and desired outcomes. Kylie aims to provide all participants with an improved ability to deal with life’s difficulties and enjoy day-to-day life.

Who are these sessions for?

Children - Teenagers - Adults - Parent/Carer Support

If you, or someone you love and care for, is going through a tough time, and finding parts of life difficult, Kylie’s Mindfulness Coaching Sessions could be of benefit by teaching you skills to manage your mental health, helping to improve your/their overall well being, and bringing back a greater sense of ease and enjoyment in life.

Everyone experiences unhelpful thoughts and extreme emotions at times, its normal, but if they are impacting your/their quality of life, then it is important to seek support.

Kylie combines her formal training and lived experience as a teacher, mindfulness instructor, holistic therapist, and parent, to connect with children, teenagers, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-worth, social difficulties, confidence issues, grief, trauma, ADHD, Autism, and other conditions that can effect thoughts, emotions, behaviours and mental health.

With waitlists for psychologists and support programs being so long, a Mindfulness and Mental Health coaching session with Kylie can be a great option while you wait for an appointment, or it can provide a strategies focussed alternative to traditional talk therapy.

Types of sessions?

1.  Individuals - Strategies Coaching Sessions

These sessions incorporate a mix of mindfulness training, practical strategies, goal setting, and relaxation. Kylie can teach participants how to effectively use strategies to build self-awareness, emotional intelligence, regulate emotions, respond thoughtfully to situations instead of reacting, improve communication and social skills, build connections with others, and build attention and concentration.


2. Individuals - Relaxation Sessions

These sessions incorporate gentle mindfulness practice to induce a state of peace and calm for the mind and body for the entire session. Kylie will guide you through a series of mindfulness, meditation, heartfulness and positive thinking exercises that will allow you to be truly present in the moment and release your worries, all whilst relaxed in a comfortable position.


3. Parent/Carer Sessions

These sessions are provided to parents and carers of children and adults who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health. Kylie will discuss your situation with you and provide advice on strategies that you can easily incorporate into your day to day life to support them (and yourself). This may include help with understanding the mental health conditions, tips on how to best support your child/loved one, simple strategies to teacher your child/loved on, advice on family routines, resource ideas e.g. movies/picture books/websites etc, to help you feel empowered, less alone, and more in control.


4. Small Groups - Family/Friends Sessions

These sessions allow families and friends to connect and enjoy a strategies coach session or relaxation session together. *Maximum of 5 people per session unless discussed with Kylie prior to booking.

what is involved?

At the start of your session, Kylie will discuss your goals and desired outcomes with you/your child. She will then facilitate your choice of session type (listed above) which are all based on mindfulness, meditation, heartfulness and positive thinking.

Specific activities included in sessions are chosen from our exclusive Be Calm, Be Happy session framework, which includes:

* Please Note: Face-to-face appointments are conducted in the Maitland Area, which is part of the Hunter Valley in NSW. If you cannot attend in person, please select ‘zoom session’ in Step 2.
