She is a qualified Primary School teacher with fourteen years’ experience in working with children in primary schools and Early Education settings. Erin has completed extensive mindfulness training to enable her to deliver our preschool and primary school programs to the highest quality. She personally practises mindfulness to help her deal with the day to day stresses of life. She says that it allows her to be more self-aware and have a heightened ability to regulate her emotions. Erin is extremely passionate about working for Head and Heart Mindfulness and being able to help equip the students of our region with the vital skills of mindfulness to support them in learning to cope, accept, slow down, have self-compassion and connect with the present. She is very passionate about mental health awareness and believes that mindfulness is the key to helping children thrive in this rapidly changing world. Otherwise: Erin loves spending time with her husband and two children. She enjoys anything crafty; her family often joke that her hobby is trying new hobbies! She loves bike riding, picnics and anything that involves relaxing outdoors.       <image:caption>Kate is a Mindfulness Educator at Head and Heart Mindfulness. She is a qualified Primary School teacher with 17 years’ experience in working with children in primary school settings. Kate has completed extensive mindfulness training to enable her to deliver our preschool and primary school programs to the highest quality. Kate personally uses mindfulness for her and her family to help them all relax, unwind and destress. She finds that it allows her to centre her thoughts instead of worrying about her day or what lies ahead. As an experienced teacher, Kate recognises that now more than ever there is an absolute need to improve the mental health and wellbeing of children. She is excited to help children that are unable to detect their own emotions or deal with them in positive ways. Kate believes that the earlier that we can teach children the life skills to combat stress and worry and to create positivity then the better chance they will have to thrive and succeed in daily life. Otherwise: Kate loves to spend time with her 4 boys and her husband, watching them play sport and ride motorbikes. She enjoys camping with her family and spending time with friends enjoying a glass of wine. She is a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) early years and primary school teacher and has been teaching in a variety of school settings across NSW for the past 10 years. Jess loves working with, teaching and learning from children. Jess has completed extensive mindfulness training to enable her to deliver our preschool and primary school programs to the highest quality. Jess has personally found mindfulness helpful for herself, as she has been dealing with anxiety since she was a young child. She says that knowing what to do and how best to cope with the stresses of everyday life has helped her as a person, mother and a teacher. Jess is extremely excited to have the opportunity to teach mindfulness to children and cannot wait to see the positive outcomes at each preschool and school in which she visits. Otherwise: Jess has a beautiful family, with two small children and a caring partner, whom she loves going on adventures with. She in very creative and is just a bit obsessed with Kmart.       <image:caption>Romi is a Mindfulness Educator at Head and Heart Mindfulness who specialises in working in Early Childhood settings. She has studied and taught yoga and meditation for 15 years’ and has experience at working with children 3-6 years old. Romi has completed extensive mindfulness educator training to enable her to work with Head and Heart Mindfulness. This training, along with her years of personal mindfulness practise and attendance at regular mindfulness classes, will enable Romi to deliver our preschool programs to the highest quality. Romi is extremely passionate about creating connections with children and has a wonderful ability to communicate and resonate with the children in which she works. She is excited to be able to assist young children by teaching them tools and skills to cope with the many challenges that life holds. Otherwise: Romi feels happiest when out in nature - she loves the bush, the beach, anywhere with open skies and space to breathe. She has two beautiful children whom she adores and i wonderful husband. Together they love to travel and have fun adventures and then curl up with a good book and a cup of tea.
